Covering Argyll and Bute; Caithness, Sutherland and Ross; Inverness and Nairn; Moray; Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch; Na h-Eileanan an Iar; Orkney & Shetland in the Scottish Parliament, the overlapping UK Parliament seats, as well as parts of Argyll & Bute Council, the Highland Council, Moray Council, Na h-Eileanan Siar, the Orkney Islands council, and the Shetland Islands council.
Our region is brimming with potential, but living in the Highlands & Islands comes with higher costs due to the climate and distance. Food, energy, insurance, and housing costs have surged disproportionately compared to Europe, worsened by Brexit.
The Scottish Government has stepped in with measures like the the Scottish Child Payment, lifting children out of poverty. However, key solutions lie with Westminster, and we are forced to endure poor decisions that harm our economy and our people.
Independence is the solution. Only then will Scotland’s future be in Scotland’s hands. With independence, we can build a prosperous economy, provide our people with the opportunities they deserve, and offer the support they need during difficult times.
